New Features – InfoBox and References/ Footnotes

March 21st, 2009 by admin

I’m new to this whole wiki thing, but I’m trying to make the entries a little more standardized.

I’m using Mediawiki templates, to render some of the content in a organized and predictable manner.

  • Firstly, I created the ‘Infobox CD’ template, to create a wikipedia style ‘infobox’ table that has a person’s name, office, type of corruption etc.
  • Secondly, I imported some Wikipedia templates to enable the use of footnotes and references, so that media mentions of corruption tomfoolery can be used to back up the info on this site.
  • I’m using the Barack Obama entry as a guinea pig, occasionally the Chris Dodd and Barney Frank pages as well. If you’re trying to figure out how to use footnotes or infoboxes, just click on the ‘edit’ link at the top of any of these pages.
